On April 30 , 2021 Senator Omidvar participated in a panel discussion hosted by Engineers Without Borders Canada during their Day of Action 2021: Global (R)Evolution virtual event. Fellow panelists included Dr. Samantha Nutt, Founder & President of War Child Canada and War Child USA, Paul Hagerman, Director of Public Policy at the Canadian Foodgrains Bank, and Nic Moyer, President-CEO of Cooperation Canada.
