On June 6, 2019 Senator Ratna Omidvar participated as a panelist in the 2019 Pritzker Forum on Global Cities in Chicago discussing the influence cities can have on the experience of migrants and their capacity to shape migration policy. Moderated by Andrew Edgecliffe-Johnson, US Business Editor at the Financial Times, this session also included the following panelists:

Helen Clark – Former Prime Minister of New Zealand;
David Miliband – President & CEO of the International Rescue Committee; and
Lefteris Papagiannakis – Vice Mayor for Migrant and Refugee Affairs with the Municipality of Athens (Greece).
